Cupcakes

If you know me, you know I love cupcakes. I love everything about them! The cuteness they can be the yumminess, how you can personalize something edible... Oh cupcakes oh I love you! One day I hope to open my own cupcake shop. No any cupcake shop but an old 50's diner cupcake shop! The other night we had girls night and we decided to have everyone bring treats and just hang out all night! Well thankful for me this amazing website... Bakerella had these yummy cute looking cupcakes!
I decided to make them and they turned out perfect! Thank you Bakerella for all your amazing idea's and your fun website!

I have a 8 year old!

Makenzie turned 8 on July 22nd! Crazy to think how fast time has gone by and how much I can remember! It is really like I remember everything with her. I remember going to the hospital to get my labor started... It seems like just yesterday.

This year has been wonderful for Makenzie. She has a great 2nd grade teacher and she improved so much by being in her class. Makenzie also lost her first tooth this year... Actually her first 4 all within a week. I am so lucky to be her mommy and to get to go home to her and her sister's everyday!!

Here are a few fun things about Makenzie....

She is a good big sister
She loves to read (Specially to her sisters)
She is SO good at Math
She is a cuddler
She loves to help me out when I need it the most
She loves animals. Specially the dolphins
She loves to sing and dance
She loves to help with yard work (Even mowing the lawn now!)
And most of all her favorite thing to do it BAKE and COOK!!

Kindergarten Graduate!!

Ashlynn has graduated from Kindergarten. I love that her school did a little program for them. It was so cute. Makenzie went to another school for Kindergarten so she was never able to get the ceremony like Ashlynn. It was super cute, they sang songs, did tricks and made everyone smile. Ashlynn also felt pretty cool and loved with all her family there to support her!

Finally... An update!

We went to Las Vegas in May and I thought it was time to put up our pictures. It was so nice to have a little getaway and have no worries even though it was only 4 days! The kids had a blast and really just wanted to swim all day! Here are a few pictures from our trip! It was a trip we will never forget!

My little Ashlynn!

I can not believe how fast time goes by. Ashlynn turned 6 yesterday! She is getting so big! She woke up super early and came in to my room and asked if it was her birthday! I told her it was and snuggled with her for a little while. I figured I have to get snuggle time in now before she is too old and will not even want to hang out with me anymore! Then we got ready and her and her sisters had to go to Shaunna's. She was excited to go to school though! I got off work early to hang out with her the whole afternoon! She told her Auntie that she thought she was 15 so she was kinda disappointed to find out she was 6! She was thinking that by having the one finger on one hand and having five of the other meant 15 I guess!
Once Sean got home we gave her the presents we got her. She was so happy to get her camcorder! I caught her making videos of herself all night! Once I figure out how to download them I will post a few! I think she may be making a video diary of herself! She makes me laugh! Here are a few things about Ashlynn;

She is so smart! Her favorite book is her Auntie's High School biology book

She is a GOOD sister!
She does not let anyone stand in her way
She will tell you her honest opinion about anything
She can be bossy when she needs to be
She has lots of friends and does not judge people
She loves animals and wants to grow up and save them!
She hates eating meat
Her favorite food is eggs and popsicles
She loves clothes and shoes and likes to look "cute" everyday!

I am so thankful for her being in my life everyday! I would not change a single thing! She has taught me so much and she is just so loving it makes me see the world through a whole new light when she tells me her amazing stories.

Yesterday was also my neices birthday. Rylie is getting so big too! I am so blessed to be so close to my sister and get to see my neice and nephew at least once a week. Ryland is now 9 it is weird saying that my sister has a 9 year old! She is such a smart little girl.

Who knew!

So I was reading my friends blog the other day and she was talking about how you can track who visits your blog.. I never knew you could do that! So I looked into mine! It is kinda scary. Anyone can google your name and find your blog. I am a blog stalker too but really only to people I know.. Mostly people I went to High School with, but it kinda makes me want to go private so creeps can not see my blog! There are scary people out there.

New Toy

Sean decided the girls needed a new toy, so this is what he bought them. Of course we are now going to have to buy another one. They love it and have so much fun riding it!

Circus

This weekend we went to the circus... I love this circus so much more then the other one we usually go to. We usually go to the BIG one You know Ringling Brothers. That one is always so busy and you can never really see most of the things because there are so many people. The one we went to was the Jordan World Circus. It was at Weber Fair grounds. You get to pick your own seats so it is first come first serve pretty much! We were not super close but close enough to see everything! The kids had so much fun and asked if we could do it again next year. I loved to watch their faces light up when they saw all the animals and the cool tricks. There was one scary part this year..... They have motorcycles in a ball that go around and around, well they kept adding more and more to it. When they had 4 motorcycles there was a crash. Luckly everyone was fine and got out safe one guy was limping but was not too hurt. Here are a few pics that I got... I did not take any of the tricks or animals I was too focused on how the kids liked it!

Planning for a Vacation!

We are finally taking another family vacation! We will not be going until April when the weather is a little better and hopefully will not have to worry about being stuck in snow storms like last time so we have some time to plan... Or so I thought! Planning a vacation is hard work and stresses me out! I want it to be nice and stay in a nice hotel. I am not sure why I focus so much on a nice hotel when we will only be in there to sleep. But I do not want to get any nasty bugs or anything! We are taking Sean's little brother with us and I am so excited to be able to take him with us! I hope he has a good time. So we are going to Vegas and LA. I need to find good Hotels for both, we have not been to LA but we plan to stay at the MGM grand in Vegas. Any suggestions?
